This has been enhanced and strengthened further through his empowerment and support by Rick Warren when he visited Virginia (United States of America) in 2011. As they say “knowledge is power” and “knowledge is of no value unless you put it into action”.Undeniably, the URCSA Tshwane is a purpose driven church, living up to the knowledge and insights gained from his visit to Virginia.

Additionally, he epitomises participatory, shared and distributive leadership qualities. He believes in the collective’s wisdom in working with his church council (servant leaders) and congregation,as guided by 1st Peter 5: 1-3 “So I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, as well as a partaker in the glory that is going to be revealed: shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you;not for shameful gain, but eagerly; not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock.”
Likewise,he believes in creating a platform for all stakeholders in the church to bring out the best in everyone who is ready to participate actively. This is evident in the immense role played by his congregation (from Sunday school children to the golden girls and boys) in various church activities and committees, democratic election of the church council, decision making processes, shaping and informing the church policies and many others. This promote sense of ownership and belonging by the congregants and effective running of the church. It also emphasises that “every URCSA Tshwane member matters”.
As they say, “the spiritual transformation of the body of Christ begins in the hearts of our Leaders”. Indeed, heis a Godly example to his congregation. He is passionate about his calling and being a shepherd to his flock. He believes in the transformation of selfishness into compassion and self-righteousness into empathy. His favourite verse in the bible is Mark 10:45 "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many". He is also focusing on winning souls for the Kingdom and building strong families through special programmes, touching all levels of growth- children, youth, young adults, adults and senior citizens.
He is married to Segametsi Molawa- nee' Molefe. They are blessed with two daughters namely, Palesa and Thoriso. He is forever grateful to his family, congregation and servant leaders (church council) for supporting his Ministry unreservedly.
Rev. Jacky Molawa is currently writing a book about his call and services at URCSA Tshwane
